We're off to Paris for the tea-party this week. I'm so excited to get there early before our real-life visit in June. I LOVE Paris . And I love the food there - so while I have a couple of little spotlights on the Eiffel Tower, my focus is on the bakeries and the bread - and all their other wonderful patisserie. Round the corner from our regular hotel is a little cake shop with the most beautiful works of art in the window - and they taste as good as they look.
A2 base.
Base layer is kraft, embossed with Kassie's Brocade and sponged with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.
Rubber Romance Boulangerie image stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks, Liquid Pearls for some flowers, Glossy Accents on the glass.
Hero Arts Ooh La La stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and cut out - Glossy Accents on legs, wine glass and beak.
I stamped an Eiffel Tower on a scrap of watercolour paper and punched out 3 5/8 circles, along with the postmark from French Foliage, and added a lot of Glossy Accents to all of them.
And even though I've made I don't know how many variations on this card, it never gets boring. In fact, I totally forgot that I meant to plan a card big enough to put a little pop-up Eiffel Tower on the inside.
Maybe, just maybe, life will quieten down enough for me to make another Paris card this week. I wish...

Hi Sabrina, sorry I am so late in commenting on the Teaparty Tickle. And I am so doing the Happy Dance as I have just receivied this amazing card in the mail. This has definetly put a great big grin on my face. I so love Pierre standing in front of the bakery. Your card looks great in the gallery, but so much better in real life.... Love it so much, Sabrina.
You must be celebrating your Anniversary in June - what a wonderful place to celebrate it.
