I made this card for this week's sketch challenge and today's free for all challenge which we were to make a blue card with blue flowers. I hope I have enough blue on my card for today's challenge. It looks like more of the crumb cake color because of the ribbon.
It's hard to see in my photo so I wanted to mention that I spritzed my oval layer using my bashful blue marker and my spritzer tool. The area around my sentiment is white. I used a 1 3/4" circle punch and the reverse masking technique to do this. I also added some glitter on the roses along the bottom of my oval.

Roses in Winter is my favorite SU set...the blue roses look beautiful and what a clever idea to add the gathered ribbon around the oval...this is sooo gorgeous!!!

Patty, what a beautiful and peaceful card! I love your ribbon treatment, and the sentiment is one of my favorites! I love that you used one of my favorite oldies, Roses in Winter...one I'll never part with! Nor will I part with Thoughts and Prayers. Thanks for sharing this lovely card!
