Happy Tuesday everyone. Here is my card for Amy. A young woman who has been in the hospital since December - she has just been diagnosed with Leukemia. Here is the story for our teaparty today.
We are hoping to send Amy some happy mail. She is a big "Twilight Fan". I created this scene for her. I don't know if you can read it - but I wrote "Bite Me" on the moon.
I guess I am coming in the back door for sure - dark trees, full moom and a hunky vampire too....
The trees are a free digi image from Beccy's Place . The Edward Cullen image is from a colouring page on the internet. I sponge old olive around the trees, basic black on the sky and close to cocoa on the ground. Daubed on some Platium stickles for the stars and on the moon. The checked frame is a piece of designer glitter paper from the dollar store. I covered the white base card with gold paper. I sewed the tree panel onto the checkered paper. Coloured Edward with Tombow markers and popped him up. The checkered panel is popped up as well.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Very nicely constructed card Pat. I'm glad that you told us what the moon was inscribed with - too funny! A friend of mine says that a lot, but I think she means something different...

I love this scene - what a great scene for this card and that Edward is very hunky. I love how you did the sentiment on the moon - she will absolutely flip over this card. Great sparkle too.
