This was fun! I made this for the Techniques Challenge, TLC48. I always like Michael Strong projects on HGTV, and this is a really good one. Finally, I used some of the magazine pictures I've been saving for a couple of years, AND for the first time used this cute little fishy from Little Layers. The fish were stamped onto a picture of a sunset and cut out - I did take Shadow's previous advice and glued them onto cardstock before cutting them out. I may have cheated on this technique because I didn't use a black background (used Night of Navy), used stamped vellum over the dark background (brayered Blue Frost spectrum on the back), and didn't stamp the fish on the vellum layer first before layering the cut-out ones. But, I like how it turned out, except I wish the words and shells showed up a little better. BTW, I changed the "W" in "Wishing" to "F" in the greeting. In the middle cluster of three fishies, the middle fish is popped up on one dimensional and the front one is on two. I used the stampa-ma-jig a LOT on this project.

Wow this is just way too cute. Love the colors. I want to try this technique now. The fish is perfect and the BG rocks. I have never stared at a card for that long. Great job!!!!
