This card was made for two challenges today: Clean And Simple: Sketch and the Technique Lovers Challenge: Make a frame out of stamps..but no "frame" stamps could be used.
I have had a VERY interesting weekend. We attended the EXP CON in St. Augustine, FL. (It's a comic book convention.) My son, (Mark's oldest), is second in command of the show, and I must admit that he has fantastic leadership skills. He's kind by firm with volunteers. What a FANTASTIC way to lead. I'm very proud of him! I hope he decides to change his major to business...
I also want you to know that I was pretty much in the 3% catagory. What 3%? That would be the 3% OVER 30! It was funny, because all 3% of us would gather together and watch the chaos. You could tell which of us were there as a "ride" for our children, too! We were the ones fussing about our FEET HURTING! LOL
However, my dad met up with some interesting folks...(There are photos on my blog! LOL)
This card was super easy to make. To qualify for the Technique lovers challenge, I stamped the word "Peace" from Mark's Finest Papers' Holly Greetings, around the edges of the panel in VersaMark and embossed in Copper. Then, I stamped the image onto the focal panel in Palette Noir and then inked the image in Adirondack Espresso and OFF stamped it before stamping it onto the panel for the "background" trees.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 22 minutes.
