Well Connie Jo is out of commission for awhile...something about a knee ;). Because she photographs her card against her favorite tree, I thought that I would honor her with a tree. And wood texture. And another tree...
Stamped the tree from Branch out in Basic Brown, then the leaves in Memento Bamboo Leaves & Cottage Ivy and SU Green Galore. Sponged with green Galore. Cut a strip of brown ruched paper and partially matted with Garden Green. Ran brown CS through the TH EF that had been inked with Close to Cocoa (it gave a pretty cool 2 toned look IRL). Mounted all on a PTI cream card and added the nailheads and Sizzix Originals leaves. PT - 2 I used Roxie's wonderful sketch for my layout.
Feel better, Connie! Hope that your rehab is quick and that you are back to yourself again soon
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

I am so impressed you've realized for some reason, CJ9 always takes her photos on her prized tree. I have to tell you, Marie, it's not all it appears to be. She's always on the lookout for a new man in her life when she's outthere taking all kinds of photos of 1 card. I love that you brought her love of her tree into your gorgeous card. What a great card and one I trust she'll enjoy. Marie, she's an...er ... much older woman, so I just now in my heart she'll love looking at this when she's confined to just staring at her tree instead of being outside looking for a man.

Marie, this is so wonderful in every way. The Branch Out tree is one of my all-time favorites and currently, I have a love for all things w woodgrain. So this is a great card in my estimation. The fact that you placed it in the tree for the photo to honor Connie Joe takes it over the top. She will really smile about this.
