We're going back to school this week for the Tea Party. Seems we Teapotter's need to learn how to count again. Good thing it's sandal weather, that means I have 10 more digits!
Estelle T. Stump, the schoolhouse grump,
you could say she's a little old frump.
She isn't a happy camper,
with all of us Teapot stampers,
Seems that we've forgotten how to count
1+1=3 is not the right amount.
I've been told that men are better
with math over writing a letter
I don't see how X+Y= 23
but put me in a spelling bee.
For I admit numbers are my weakness
I won't be winning any Preakness
Just let me win that big lottery!
We're supposed to have 2 of something, I've got 3 numbers and 5 flowers, that equals 8. I thought I would make it real easy for myself and everyone else as to knowing which Tea Party this is.
Therefore, my card is numbered 152.
The flowers are made using the peony dies with a beautiful coppery and red handmade paper that I got years ago at Costco. The dragonfly is actually copper, from Making Memories. It's time to use up some of these great embellishments I have hoarded, er collected.
I had a hard time getting a good photo of this card, to really make the copper c/s show up. Believe me, this is really coppery.
I will be participating in the Tickle a Teapotter exchange this week.

Gorgeous flowers and dragonfly. Aren't those cards that it's hard to capture a good photo of so frustrating. And yet we don't stop making them because while they may look OK in photos they're gorgeous IRL. I bet this is .

simply beautiful. I love your flowers!!! who makes a peony die cut? Our grandmothers had so many peonies in her yard and I love them....just hated the ants that hid in all of the petal layers. You did a great job with all of the die cuts, colors and textures. tfs.

Ha! I wondered at the significance of those numbers. They don't call me dodo for nothing! Glad you explained it. I may never have been able to figure it out on my own. LOL. Beautiful card. Tfs.

Love your dragonfly and flowers! Great idea for the 152 to remind the teapotters which challenge this is... :-)
