Wow Betty, these are some TOUGH colors, plum and red.....wow....I am so anxious to see what everyone else does with these colors!! When I actually finished my card I looked at it and thought gee, not bad.....but left to myself I would have never in a million years combined plum and red. That's what is good about challenges though, gets us out of our ruts, our boxes, our comfort zones. Well, right now, as you read this, I am out of my comfort zone because I am away on a business trip for 3 days, and away from home = out of my comfort zone. Staying with coworkers in a hotel, learning about selling root canals and bridgework, partials and crowns and dentures. So much fun. So my sweet DIL who you all know, Jenna, is downloading my card for me so I won't have to try and do it on my blackberry, which would be a lot like torture to me. I hate my blackberry. I'm not sure why I ever even got one, except for adult children insisting I would wonder what I ever did without it. It's true, what did I hate before I had my blackberry? It would be so sad to go through life without it. Enough rambling. I won't be commenting till my lovely trip is over. So to all of you who rose to this challenge, I say bravo. I may do some peeking on my blackberry while I'm away. It only takes me about 45 minutes to log in. Maybe I'll even be glad, for one short 3 day period that I have one, just so I can see what you all did with plum and red. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

wow Karen, for thinking these were tough colours to use, you sure came up with a beauty...I love everything about your card.. I really love that beautiful multiple bow and the square lattice ef...sorry you have to be away and not having access to your computer... I know how you feel because when I have been away, I have missed it terribly also.

A lovely card, Karen!! Have fun at the seminar, and enjoy getting to know your blackberry (ps, I'm still one of those who have a basic cell phone, no landline~ it doesn't do anything except ring musically)!!

Karen, you are hillarious! Ditto on a blackberry-although no one has insisted I get one yet! And I wouldn't have done these colors together either- in fact except for the challenges, mine would probably all be monochromatic! Hehee! Anyway, your card is beatutifully done! And you make those colors look like they should go together!! The boarder, the brad, the image and that bow are all just perfect! Great job on the challenge!

Never would have thought to use those colors - great job, Karen. Jenna: thanks for helping her since she is having so much fun learning all about root canals, dentures and all that fun stuff!!
