Talk about timing. I just finished this card for our Grandson, yesterday, and today's Free for All is to make a child's birthday card.
This is a paper embroidery train. Our GS loves Thomas the Train, so this was the perfect card to do for him.
I enlarged the pattern to 110% then did each part of the train on panels. These were then attached when completed to a folded card. I used buttons, candles and the #2 (that's how old he will be tomorrow), to fill the cargo containers of the train. There"s a balloon trailing off the back of the train, and smoke trailing all along the train.
The greeting is computer generated.

Aaaaack! Look at those wheels! What a delightful card- this will be in a special album, saved for years! Aw...a Grandmother's love is all over this! Beautiful!
