This week we're making cards with cherries on them for Mothermark's neice, Shari, who is battling cancer and could use some cheering up. You can read more about it here .
Used a $1.00 stamp for the cherries, colored with Copics, cut out, covered with Crystal Effects and glued on a square cut from a scrap of shiny checker board design paper. Placed that on a square of Real Red cardstock then a square of sparkle black DCWV cardstock. Scored two vertical lines on the left side and added the dots using stickles. Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts and called it done.

Those scored lines and stickle dots are so effective - I like the way you have red dots too, and not just black. I wouldn't have thought of that. And of course the glossy cherries against the black check look fabulous.

Those $1 stamps are so nice, I've decided if I don't have a stamp theme for the teaparty one week I'll buy a stamp, at $1 it's cheaper than stickers. Great card.
