I am soooo thrilled to see my good friend and Punchkateer pal, Heather aka Isaiah40:31, crowned Queen. Thankfully, that crown is out of Pamzi's hands and we're all much safer now. LOL
I hope my Canadian friend isn't frozen as I noticed she said it is -22 degrees F-before wind chill-in her part of the world. OOhh, I can't even stand to think about that. The lowest I've had is -11 F before wind chill. Yes, in the south. That was in 1985.
I chose this gorgeous card of Heather's to case: CAS93 Christmas Wreath by Isaiah40:31 at Splitcoaststampers I tried to keep the sketch the same, but used a railroad track instead of holly and ribbon, and a train instead of a wreath. The train is stamped on checked paper and cut out 3 times, the bottom layer is put on with Scor-Tape and the others popped on. Then, I went a little bonkers and added what I called a sun, using a button and die cut. Of course, I had to have hearts and then went wild with my sentiment. I also made my matching brads. Carol aka carol_PA925 is always making these cute, faux brads that look real. I have been meaning to try it. They are easy for mailing. I just punched out a circle with my cropodile and put glossy accents on them. Of course, the mailing part won't help me because I have three layers of train and that track is another thing to make the post office charge me more. Ugh~~~~
This card is for my two year grandson and had to be a cutie card. I have to make another just like it for the other two year old grandson. Then, one for my 5 month old princess. What fun!!!
Heather, have a blast being Queen this week!!
