Well, thought I'd best get my QFTD card to honour Her Royal Highness (aka Her Royal Pain-in-the-Hiney - HRPITH) Pamzi, Queen of the Fruitflakes created and uploaded today before anyone tells her that she has to give up her crown when the next QFTD is crowned. Ay yi yi!! That'll be a scene to behold...!!!
HRPITH Pamzi believes that acronym "QFTD" stands for "Queen Forever, Total Diva" and as such, has allowed her head to swell to such an extent that the crown has become quite tight. The immediate result of this Tight Crown Syndrome has been quite something to behold as Queen Fruitflake has buzzed about her courtyard threatening to send anyone and everyone to 'the tower' and, in some cases, to the 'chopping block'. The only solution to Tight Crown Syndrome is to remove the crown. Good luck with that Peggy!!
In all seriousness, pam124, or Pamzi my "Original Punch Pal" as I have come to know her, is a real gem in the SCS world. Creative cardmaker, commenter extraordinaire, crazy comedienne, Flaky Fruitcake, but best of all, friend. I first connected with Pamzi about 2 years ago (in the days before she used a fancy bathmat for her photo shoots) and immediately noticed that we were kindred spirits when it came to our love of punches. I made a comment about it on this VERY bright card. (Put on your sunglasses before you click that link!) From that comment we started messaging and have been "Palz" ever since.
I used that VERY bright card as my starting point for this card but used very regal blue and gold pearlized cardstock. The crown is a digital file (as is the buzzy, busy Queen Bee on the inside). Glitzed and gilded both images with my metallic Gelly Roll pens. Added lots of pearls and punching for Pamzi. Chose the arched punch 'cause it made me think of the points on fancy crowns.
Yes, Pamzi my Fruitflake friend, you are one of a kind indeed. Perhaps we should be thankful for that. Hugz to you Queen Pamzi. Hope you have enjoyed your reign.
PT: At least 8 different punches were dusted off in the making of this card.
BTW: You must check out this Official Portrait of Da Queen by the creator of the QFTD challenges herself. Love it!
