Marisa aka whiterockmama is being honored this week as FS and I am so happy for her. Marisa is a good pal of mine and she so deserves this honor. What a gallery of gorgeous cards. I picked out about 5 immediately and finally chose this one: WRM Inkspirations Color Challenge by whiterockmama at Splitcoaststampers I made mine a Valentine instead of Christmas and used less green and more white. My bg is different, the button/brad is different, and the punch is not the same, but I kept her sketch. I know Marisa sometimes using her crimper so I crimped my designer paper and I see it doesn't even show. Drat!
Marisa, I hope you are enjoying your week as FS.
After I made this card for FS Marisa, I saw the Color Challenge today of red, white, silver or gray and decided to join that, also.
My card has a lot of gold but the brad has some SILVER.
I used the dessert option: ribbon. Wish I had used a different green that wasn't grosgrain with the sheer but I didn't...so here it is.

Wow, this is beautiful - I like the way you have the heart hanging from gold and the gold organdy ribbon is gorgeous!
The pearly button in the middle is fabulous!

Great card B-B-B-B-Benzi. And relax, I have that punch. And there's to much snow here to be waitin' by the mailbox anyway. At least our temps are warmer today than they were last week. We're almost at the freezing mark! And it looks like the sun is trying really hard to shine today. Anyway, back to the business at hand! Your card is a sweet tribute to our Ritzi - even without Swiss Dots! Love the subtle embossing on the bg. RYPH!

This is exquisite Benzi. I love how you pulled the color of the ribbon out of your dp and used it as an accent. This is very stunning and elegant. Love it!
