Okay Vicki, so tempting turquoise is one of my fears in life......makes my lips freeze.....and poppy parade.....I love it when I use it but I must admit I have sorta shyed away from IT, too. However, I thought long and hard on this one, decided I could maximize the poppy and minimize the turquoise, which I just used as a highlight around my flowers, and dang, I like this card! So thanks for taking me out of my comfort zone my brilliant colors friend, and helping me over come my fears!! ;) I have also taken a week or so off here as I baby sat the weekend for my sweet GD Olivia Lou, 16 months old. At the end of the weekend after we had safely returned her to her mommy and daddy, I was out prone on the couch.....feeling extremely blue cuz it was over and I missed her already, but also kinda paralyzed with exhaustion and a whole new appreciation for what young mama's go thru! Phew! That little peanut kept me HOPPIN!! Good to be back to stamping.....this one's for Olivia Lou! ;)
PS, I haven't been to a tea party in FOREVER, so when I saw that the criteria today is to decorate the inside of that sad blue boat I thought YES, I will bring my pretty flowers to decorate the inside of the ugly boat!! I think these will be BEAUTIFUL with daisies!! They will see that boat a comin'!! ((Lou thinks too that those soft daisies need some shakin' UP!)

Hey, where was Lou? You found him for an opinion? That scoundrel! He, left us stranded in the Amazon! Snort! Guess what? The teapotters (including me) are color blind! Hey, I told you this whole thing is make believe! Those flowers look like daisies to us....and we will never get past the beauty of the card and get to the flowers anyway, so who cares? We are way laid back......even the pirahna's can't get us riled up!
So glad to see you.....I am tickled you made your way back to us.......These are the most beautiful *daisies* I have ever seen! Daisy won't know the difference, she is just excited about how beautiful her boat is now!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! LOVE your card, Karen!! Those little girls CAN be exhausting... I know! :o) While I was up in your stamp room last night, all I could think about was stamping when I got home. Then after we ate dinner I couldn't wait to get home to SLEEP! How in such a short amount of time can they suck so much energy out of you?!? Mike had me sewing a pocket back onto his sweatshirt last night and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep a time or two while doing it! So, it ended up that there was no stamping for me last night! BTW: Brookie is hugging me, saying "Mama," as I'm typing this. Oh and giving me kisses, too! Maybe we'll see you later!!~

VERY, very nice! I love the giagantic ribbon, and the black accents, and especially the look that embossing folder creates.

Turquoise is the perfect buffer for orange. It makes me think of bright copper with some weathered spots of verdigris, natural partners. You did such an amazing job on this floral beauty. I can picture those flowers at the front of the boat acting like a beacon through the Amazon.
