for today's Color Challenge. The dessert was to add a butterfly. Since I was creating a Christmas card, I chose not to add one.
I found these colors to be outside of my comfort zone, so I did "buffer" (cheat) with some additional colors on Santa's outfit. Don't send the Challenge Police after me....please!
The background of the Santa image is a Bazzill paper that is embossed with shiny snowflakes...white on white. I then used my turq ink and a sponge dauber to shade it. Works like an embossed resist. It makes this paper very versatile.

That Santa image is LOVELY!! I think the extra colors are just fine--no cheating here. They enhance the challenge colors so nicely. Gorgeous coloring, wonderful sparkle. Beautiful work

I LOVE this Santa!! I'd love to have a statue just like that, I have a thing for collecting Santas from around the world and this would fit right into my collection. Such a beautiful card!!!
