Do we ever really "say that" enough? When I think about it ... I believe I'm pretty good about telling my family that I love them ... just to be sure they know. But ... do I really tell others that I'm "thankful" to have them in my life? Hmmmmm ... something to ponder. This thought-provoking card was inspired by the OCLDT37 challenge this week, plus the (SCS) F4A36 Rummaging & Scavenging challenge, and Julie's HYCCT21 Handmade Embellishments challenge. The truth is ... I adored each one of these challenges. Family time has required that I "combine" when possible .. so there we have it! Stamps are from Our Craft Lounge.

Whoa there's a TON of work represented by this card. And every bit of it is spectacular. The raffia knots are my favorite element,so perfectly suited to the theme. I don't understand what paper piecing is, from looking at your card, or any other card, for that matter, so will have to traipse off to the Resources and see if I can find a tutorial, since so many people seem to love doing it.
This card has to be in my Top Ten Favorites. I just love everything about it.
Bev, The scarecrow is so perfectly colored and that raffia is such a creative embellishment to use with him. Such a fun card. I hope you have survived taking care of the little ones.
