The Teapot Challenge this week has a wonderful story by our hostess Cindy and our destination station ties in with Cammie's card drive. Check them out and if you can, play along.
Cindy said to bring flowers this week and buttons and bows and lots of other things. I managed to get one flower on this card - one of the last of summer. We have a 6 foot fence around our vegetable garden in which I've had to include my flowers as we have a major deer problem here. They eat EVERYTHING! Earlier this week I happened to look up to the garden and was surprised to see two deer inside and my husband went up to let them/get them out. Well, his presence scared the bejeebers out of them and they panicked and in the process happened to snap two fence posts holding up the back gate in addition to the three they had already snapped getting in. Oy! They made a quick snack out of my new perennials and anything else that wasn't caged. So, here is my tribute to the flower garden.
Accessories: Scallop Square Duo Die, Square Lattice EF, 3/8" circle punch, dauber, Rose Red stitched grosgrain, white taffeta, white organza, aquapainter, button, white cotton string

Poor flower garden! You gave quite an account of the deer's misadventure.....but tasty snacking! Love your card...it reflects the chosen teapot so well!
Oh my, I love your sweet summery card! Your poor garden, the deer are so beautiful, who'd think that they could become such a pest! The rabbits are always trying to eat my hosta here... TFS!

Oh, those pesky deer! I would be so heartbroken if they destroyed my flower garden. You want me to send Bertie to fling things at 'em and shoo them away from your garden?
Your card is very pretty, Lorraine. I love the poke-ee-dots and that beautimous bow you made.

Just think, you did your part feeding the pitiful little hungry deer. I mean, isn't that why you planted your garden? Gorgeous card and the teapot is very evident in your design.
