Whew, I finally got to the QFTD challenge posted on Friday. Carla, you SO DESERVE DA CROWN this week! Your cards are so beautiful and you are such an encourager. Good choice Annie Jo!!
I changed the layout a bit by adding 3 flowers to the side of the image instead of beneath. I changed the buttons to flowers, the image and used the eyelet square nestie for the image mat. I did not use a bow on the card, and used the SU scallop border trim punch at the bottom of the card.
I used the SU color coach to choose my colors which are 3 of the new in colors. I've had a hard time using them together, so thought I would check the color coach. I've been wanting to use Concord Crush, but couldn't seem to get it to work. Against the pear pizzazz and peach parfait, I think it came together okay.
I've been dying to use this digi image made by Sugar Creek Hollow which I received while a guest designer with Midnight Madness. B/t the butterfly, flower and musical score at the top, I was hooked.
You can find the image at Sugar Creek Hollow here:
I stamped the b/fly twice and popped up one on a dimensional. I sparkled it up with crystal effects and dazzling diamonds. I also shined up the flower and leaves with crystal effects, but no sparkle.
I watercolored the b/g and flower and used watercolor minis at the very bottom for an array of matching flowers.
This also qualifies for the StampinB challenge to use piercing found here:

Oh my goodness Pam - how did I miss this beauty! This is absolutely stunning and one of the best uses of this SCH image that I've seen so far! GORGEOUS - every last detail of it!

Y'all are melting my heart with all these delicious glittery butterflies, Pam - you know how much I love them!! The pairing of those colors was ingenius, (even if by color coach), because they turned out so fabulous together the way you used them. The punching looks awesome - you always seem to be able to combine borders and nesties in the most unique way. Two thumbs, WAY UP, my friend, on a wonderful card!
