This week's Free for All Challenge to use Scallops on our cards fits perfectly with this batch of Christmas cards that I finally managed to get finished and glued together.
I started the colouring on these snowmen on a camping trip in July (DH even picked up the markers and coloured in parts of these little fellas!)....but since then other things have continuously interrupted my efforts to finish the cards. Like snowflakes, each one of these snowmen is unique!
These cards also fit the Ways to Use It challenge this week which is to get a head-start on the holidays.
The snowman is from a set by Darcies. Used a SU wheel stamp (which I have unmounted - I wonder why I waited so long to do that) for the background and clear-embossed. Added some Dazzling Diamonds; dry-embossed the white layer with Divine Swirls and punched the edge with an EK Success Scalloped edge punch.
Another dozen in the Christmas Card box!
PT: 1 punch - but I used it 3x per card x 12 cards!

Oh my gosh these are so fun and fabulous. I just love that cute little snowman and your scalloped edges are awesome. The embossing is the perfect backdrop for that snowman too!

No, don't send one to Benzi, send them ALL to me so I can add them to my Christmas card stash. I'm only at 21 cards so far and I need about 50. I LOVE how you did so many with the same layouts and image, but colored the snowmen different. So coool. Love your embossed image too. Beautiful scallop punch which I want too. Don't send it to Benzi. She has enough of them!! Hugz - Fruitflakezi. RYPH!

What a beautiful array of Christmas cards. It's so great to have such a head start. I haven't started yet. I do have the sketch planned and one design I want to use though.
I love these adorable snowmen. Even more fun that they are all unique. Beautiful colouring. The way you cut the scarf out of the box is so cute, also the embossed poinsettia leaves.

What an adorable snowman image and I can't believe you did a dozen - that is super impressive. Love all the embossing.

Yikes, look at you go, girl! Christmas cards in September! and 12 of them no less. Yikes. Did you pull these all together knowing your life is going to become rather hectic with all your sailing and vacationing in warmer parts of the world? Do you need any crew? I can check my schedule. I could make that happen. On another note, these cards are so adorable and as you yourself said, they're like snowflakes with each one being different. How special is that. Hey, you're one lucky stamper to engage your DH in such action.
