I had the privilege of getting to browse the IC site for SaturdayÂ’ challenge in advance. Thanks again Stef not only for the great IC site but for letting me get to make a sample card early.
This site has a natural earthy feel to it. I chose to use the colors of these bags for my inspirationÂ…Â…detailsÂ…
I also got to try some new to me craft supplies that I recently ordered. On a white panel of cs that I had gessoed earlier, I brushed on some Deco-Art paper perfect using a fan brush. This is suppose to look like homemade paper. After making this I sponged on color using bundled sage, forest moss, peeled paint and pumice stone.
My next panel I made by putting the paper perfect stuff directly onto my non-stick craft sheet and letting it dry for a day. Then I sponged the edges with tea dye and sunshine yellow.
My image is a Mutnik doodled sketch. The little bird was inspired from a IC site a couple of weeks ago. After printing the images out, I colored them with re-inkers then versa marked and clear epÂ’d. I made two of each, cut them out and glued them together.
Put all my panels on an orange card that I sponged the edges with sunset orange.
Well, thatÂ’s about it for this one. Hope you like itÂ…Â….TFL :0)

Cathy, you really need to be designing and selling your own images; they would go like hotcakes!!! I love this sweet flower and bird. Your homemade paper is cool, too. Darling card!

How wonderful you can always draw what you want to put on a card! Thanks for sharing this great talent with us - I like that bg look, too - but sounds like far too much time for me LOL!
