Hi! This card was made for this week's Stampin' B's Challenge: DOTS; it also fits today's Ways To Use it Challenge: Yellow Sunshine: to use yellow on a card; and it fits this week's Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge: use a die cut!
Well, as you know today's card to use DOTS was, well...RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! I use dots VERY often on my cards, and I find they "complete" a card. And, using a die cut, is well, another thing I OFTEN do! And, let's be honest, I use a LOT of "old yellow" or "antique yellow" on my cards, (suns, dp, flowers).
This flower is the camellia from Mark's Finest Papers' SNEAK PEEK: Apples and Camellia. I stamped the image 3 times and embossed in gold. I used a Memento Blue Marker to color in the Camellias and used an aqua painter to blend. The center was colored with a yellow Memento Marker. The flowers were cut out and layered. The leaves are a Sizziz Die Cut that were sponged with Palette Hybrid ink: Sunflower and Adirondack Ink: Espresso.
Finished card size: 5" square
Total Time to Complete: 40 minutes

I love this flower in blue!! What really strikes me is that the leves were cut out of music paper! I love that!!!! Great job, and yes! This was right up your alley!!!
