Hi there,
Here is my one layer, clean and simple card for the challenge over at LateBlossom's blog. The challenge was to create a patriotic card honouring your own country's heritage. It also works for the challenge at Sentimental Sundays....celebration and Pals Paper too.
We just celebrated Canada Day yesterday and it was wonderful watching the fireworks and seeing the Queen visit Ottawa.
I tore post it notes to use as masks and swiped ink onto my card using the red ink pads I had on hand. I only own one 'Canada" stamp but it looked lost so I doodled a border around it.
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking,
Karen

Beautifully done! Good idea how you used the red inks and I do love those doodles for framing. Thanks for letting me know about my card 'Sail Away' being in the faves today.

This is fantastic - simple and makes a statement! Love everything about it - the doodling is the perfect finishging touch! Thanks for joining us at PPA!
