Today's CC270 challenge is to do melon mambo, soft suede, and neutral. Dessert is wood grain/pattern. My dessert is a digi wood paper from Stamp TV. My pinwheels are in the required colors and then stamped with those same color inks using bg stamps and embossing one with cuttlebug folder.
I embossed the other two with clear embossing powder.
I am also doing this card for the FS, Itechler. She has a wonderful gallery of cards and I'm a bit late this week. I chose this card from her gallery to case: FS157-You're My Shining Star by ltecler at Splitcoaststampers Oops! I just noticed I cased one of her FS cards that she cased and it belonged to Bar. Sorry...I just now saw that. So, I guess I cased both of them. Yikes!
I kept the layout and changed from stars to pinwheels, used a different border punch and sentiment. Also, I used a different bg and embossing folder.

Benzi, those pinwheels are so adorable - remind me of when I was a kid and they were so popular. My MIL has some garden ones and I am drawn to them when I go visit. Love your sentiment too - isn't is so true!

Benz, love those pinwheel flowers in these great colors. That'd be a great punch to have - I'll be looking for it in my mailbox real soon! Love your card and the rope border is great (I have that one, so don't worry that you have to send me 2!). I like how you did each of the flowers.
