Hi! This card was made for today's Clean and Simple Challenge: Makeover and for today's Technique lovers challenge: It's in the pieces.
I decided to Make OverTHIS CARD. I wanted to make a quick scene, using just the sentiment and the frog/toad stamp. And, today's Technique challenge of using punches to create items fit right in! I took my inspiration from Toy's (Holly's) sample. The cat tails were made using a slot punch for the brown and by slicing very thin strips at an angle on my Tonic cutter. This was pretty easy, as I had a "bad cut" on this Willow Wind card stock. I sponged color onto the cut spots and adhered them with 2-Way glue. The frog/toad was sponged with Chartreuse, Water Lily Green and Landscape.
Finished card size: 4 1/2" square
Total time to complete: 17 minutes (It would have been shorter, but I couldn't find the slot punch!)

The original card is very classy and elegant.
I LOVE this one, being a bit simpler. I love the yellow layer. I love the scene popping out of the frame!
