That was some inspiring site this morning - DH spent more time looking at it than I did. I loved the irises, but still being on my quest for the one iris stamp I have to have, I had to pass by. I landed on the peacock section and acquired a new colourway for my peacock.
A2 base, dark navy. Then some DCWV Asian stack - I was lucky to have just one piece left in this colour.
The peacock was stamped with Memento black on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os. Then added a few little gold Stickles highlights here and there, and edged the panel with a gold pen. I wrapped metallic gold ribbon round the card, and then added little *eyes* made by punching a circle from a scrap of base card, adding Glossy Accents and then a black gem. I added a gold photo corner from the box of spares on my desk, and Stickled it. I thought a little floral rub-on from Basic Grey looked a bit like feathers, so I cut it up into petals and added each one. Not so sure about that bit!
