Being from Virginia, I have a thing for cardinals. This card is absolutely beautiful. I love the layering and the watercolor crayons give such nice bold colors. Into my favorites it goes Thanks for sharing

I am envious of your ability with the WCC's!!! Could you give me a clue on how to get such a vibrant color! I always end up looking so "washed out." Wonderful work!!!!!

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I really had fun making this card and it's great that so many people like it.
I used the aqua painter to pick up the color off the WC crayons. Then paint on the cardinal. I had to go over several area's more than once. This was the first time I had used my WC crayons so I tried to color right on the image. Well it didn't work. That is also why some of the area's smudged.......to much color on them.

What a great job you did. The colors are so pretty. I got to have this set after seeing how you used it the way you did here. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us.

This is so beautiful, have to put it in my favorites! I really like the pine needle background with the few "white" branches. It really makes the card come to life. You did a great job on this card. TFS.
