This card is for today's color challenge!!! Thanks, Nancy!!! Great colors!!! I am back!!! I pulled a muscle in my back last week and spent some time with a heating pad and ben gay. I am feeling a lot better, but just trying not to aggravate the area.
For this card I am using ODBD July releases Mother Teresa and Grow in Grace sets. I colored my Lotus flower with copics. They are lavender in color eventhough, technically, lotus flowers are supposed to be pink. Forgive me!!! I tried to stay within the color boundaries...lol!!! I did use a tad of green for my lily pads. My going gray color is pretty much the copic C1 marker I used to shadow the flower. Also, the metal detailing could be a gray hue, right? I do want to add that this is a 5 X 7 size card and it uses the LONG small nestabilities.
I am using another big gingham bow!!! I just love gingham. I added a touch of a lemon tart button from a stash that Silke(sparklegirl) sent me. Thanks, girl!!! You're the best!!!

Where did you find the cross charm? I checked out your blog but it did not say what company or where to find it. Can you email me at [email protected] and let me know? Thanks and I love this card.

Betty, this is a real beauty!! Love your shading of the yellows...makes it so much more vibrant. Sorry to hear about your back, but hope the new man in your life will help you out! LOL! I'm talking about Ben Gay of course.

This is so lovely!! The lavender flowers really pop! I love the black scallop frame, the wonderful gingham bow with the button and the sweet cross charm.
