WOW! I can't believe I am sitting here uploading a card. It's been busy here lately for me. My boys were just baptized on June 14, playing taxi mom for camps, sports, and everything in between. By the time I set aside time for me...I'm tired!
I decided to play along with the Featured Stamper Christ S(uperstar tonight because I needed to relax. we were to case a card from her gallery and change a few things on our card. I chose this card to case. Sole Sistah by Christy S. at Splitcoaststampers.
What a great gallery she has, check her out.
I started out by stamping the image with black ink onto watercolor paper. I colored the image using my primascolor pencils, blending stumps, and mineral spirits. I had some DCWV glitter paper and used my mini flower punch for the edges. I used my CM corner rounder for 2 corners. I also used my CM Circle cutters for the 2 half moons. I ran my CB floral fantasy folder through the dp (make sure the Cuttlebug wording is upside down to make the image pop out) (I believe its backwards) and used sandpaper to get the white effect on it. I used the su piercing tool, brads, and my ticket corner punch for the 2 edges of the stamped image. The image is held on with pop dots. I then took my flower punch and used it with the glitter paper making sure the center of the flower had the glitter for the center.
Making this tonight, makes me want to get back into my routine, but it's really hard right now. Soon, I'll be back to a routine. Thanks for dropping by! I hope you like it! Have a wonderful night!
Bonnie
Things I changed:
1. I used dp for the b/g instead of stamped images.
2. left out middle panel
3. used corner rounder and changed the image
