Yeah... I know this challenge was a couple of weeks ago, but I need Mother's Day Cards and finally had a chance to try these! The challenge can be found here:
#1. Stamps are "Flowers of Happiness" by There She Goes. Papers: Watercolor, GP White and Generic Brown. Ink: Black StazOn, Mauve Mist & Certainly Celery. Accessories used: Aqua painter, Brads, Ribbon, Cuttlebug, Shapeabilities labels, MS border punch & computer generated sentiment. Technique: Watercoloring with ink.
#2. Digital image by Chris Dark. Bashful Blue, GP White and generic brown papers. Accessories: Koh-i-noor colored pencils, OMS, Blending stump, Ribbon, Fiskar's Treading Water punch, Computer generated sentiment. Technique: Gamsol (OMS) Magic
#3. Stamps are "In Full Bloom" & "Weathered" by SU! Always Artichoke, watercolor & GP White papers. Ink: Black StazOn, Pixie Pink & Always Artichoke. Accessories: Aqua Painter, Ribbon, MS border punch, computer generated sentiment. Technique: Watercoloring with ink.
Unlike the directions, I used thin "redline" tape and glued the sides of the pot together. After placing the ribbon, I glued the top "flap" down too. Card #2 was kind of my "practice card". I cut the pot wrong and wasn't thrilled with the ribbon, so it's just going to be a "sample" card @ the Beauty shop where I sell my stuff, so people can see how they work. I only glue the top portion of the flowers to the pull out too, so the bottom part hangs over the pot. Please, let me know what you think!
