I had already started making the flowers earlier, so basicly all I had to do is put it together.
I used a ruler and drew the cross. I spent a lot of time cutting out all the flowers and leaves.
The church I went to before we moved here had an Easter tradition. A man built this huge wooden cross. It had these elastic bands all over it and every Easter Sunday they would roll it in to the church and everyone would bring real flowers to decorate the cross with. When church was over, they would roll it out in front of the church so everybody who drove past the church could see and enjoy it.
Thanks for looking!

WOW! This is so pretty. Your cut work was worth all the time and effort. I love how you were inspired by your old church's tradition. What a lovely tradition that is/was. Beautiful colors. You used my all time favorite flowers!

I can't imagine how long it took to cut all of those flowers, but the results are amazing! The church I grew up going to does a similar thing, only the cross is covered in chickenwire. It's beautiful!
