I went with the melted crayon technique for this one. It's easy and I enjoy the results.
I'm so disapointed with the scan. This pic does NOT look like the real thing. Here the colors are dull but not irl. There is pink in it which is why I chose to use... get this... Positively Pink CS. Can you believe I still have some of that?? I don't think you can tell but I used the linen bg on the cs. I used dd on the butterfly and it really sparkles.

i think this is really lovely, I've never even thought of melted crayon..I've used them..(coloured something in with them, crumpled up the picture and then colour-washed it, then scanned it...(so it's smooth...) so will try melting them next time!
