Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Chocolate Chip, Pink Passion, Kiwi Kiss (or Old Olive).
I have not mentioned this, but Markie has been to a doc in the box on Friday night and then the ER on Saturday with a VERY high fever and a very bad flu. It was very frightening, on Saturday, since the doc in the box's diagnosis was "it's a cold!" was WRONG! The ER docs gave him a very strong antibiotic, and he was feeling well enough to go to school yesterday....Too bad he was right back home 2 hours later! Saturday night, when we got home, I had to clean off Markie's top bunk. Up there I found: a wooden BOAT, LEGOS, Pokemon cards, Magnetics, a DS and a SNORKEL! Snorkel? YEP! When I asked Markie about it, he said, "Speedy the Cat likes to pretend he's snorkeling!" LOL!
The card base is a piece of double sided designer paper. The lily was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with a Passion Pink marker. I used an aqua painter to blend. I added a Signo Pen line to create visual dimension. The center was stamped and cut out. It was adhered with a foam dot. The leaves are a HEAVILY sponged Sizzix die cut.
The left side strip is a piece of designer paper. The bottom lattice is a Cuttlebug die cut.

Faith: You never cease to amaze me. Your cards are always out of this world - and I mean in a GOOD way!! LOL! Your creativity astounds me. I have no idea how to mix all the things up like you do and come up with such a beautiful piece of art. Your story was very funny! Keep stampin' and sharing your beautiful art with all of us!
