I made this card using some of the canvas a friend of mine was throwing out....good recycling eh??
My friend affectionately known as "Aunt Rose" is 86 years old, legally blind, has had cancer and a stroke but with sheer determination using a magnifying glass and surrounded by her OTT lights, she continues to paint. She currently paints with watercolours to make cards to sell for hunger relief. AMAZING woman.
I have some of her cast off canvas and plan on using them to create some new cards.
Hope you like it.

Incredible card! Love the colors and how beautifully the sentiment merges with art work. And I especially like how you hand cut the close layers behind the top spellbinder label -wow, does that ever look wonderful. TFS

You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful friend. Her painting looks great! She is an inspiration to others without even knowing it! You did a beautiful job of incorporating her painting into this beautiful card. Colors are perfect!

Wow! if this is from one of her cast offs I'd love to see her paintings. What a wonderful way to use something that otherwise would not have much of a life. And what a wonderful quote on your card. Just beautiful.

I’m following bunny trails, Karen, and came across this beauty! I can’t even...the flowers are stunning. I don’t imagine your friend is still walking this side of heaven, but I’m sure her legacy lives on in many places and touched hearts...including yours. You created a beauty with this canvas; your own gifts are incredibly evident.
