well, I think you've cooked us up a fine challenge, NCSUfriend! I loved this little fairy girl in the emerald gown (Clip Art from Instant Memories Birthdays} I stickled the sequins on her dress with 'Lace' and dotted the black dots with American Arts scrapbooking pen. The wings are cut and raised...I used glitter pens for the copper and yellow accents.
My card base is an old Scenic Route double sided DP called green script. I chose a kickstand fold. The wonderful acetate frame is a Tim Holtz stamp that I inked with Stazon Olive Green. The Happy Birthday is direct to paper with Nick Bantock's Van Dyke Brown dye ink. I added a bit of chenille pon-pons to the top and I am good to go!
This card also fits the TSC for 02/20...casing Darla Ryan. I had such fun in her lighthearted galley. In the end, I chose this one to case because of the colors and the clip art aspect!
Oh and one other thing, Happy Birthday, Darla...how your day is full of wonderful treats!
Thanks for looking and all you girls have a great weekend!!! Please come visit me

Susan, what a sweet lil girl-fairy! I love your birthday frame and the raised elements. I have those pom poms in several colors and just look for reasons to use them! These look great- very cute card!
