The is my card for today's technique challenge - faux mosaic. This was a fun - although messy for me - technique.
This was a very hard card to photograph due to all the glitz and metallic paper. It looks so much better IRL.
I made the mosaic background with plum and silver metallic papers. The EP I used has glitter in it and is called "starry night." I've had it for years and rarely use it. I punched the spirellis from SU Pale Plum and used 2 strands of each color floss. I added 4 stripes of narrow silver braid and a small plum rhinestone in the center of each spirelli.

Mary Anne, is this ever spectacular! But, oh so much work! I must say though the end result is just stunning. Beautiful mosaic work with some gorgeous papers. amazing flowers!
