I was inspired by the brayered look to the background. I brayered pink pirouette, riding hood red and tango tangerine onto whisper white cardstock.
I used the embrace life and garden silhouettes as my stamps.
I have a hand-carved marble stamp that I bought in China at the Great Wall in 2000. An elderly chinese gentleman carved it for me. It is actually 'supposed' to be my name 'Gloria' in chinese. I felt it fit the Asian theme of this card. So I stamped it, cut it out and popped it up on a dimensional. I included it with the picture of my card. It is very heavy...what a great souvenier.
I also added some gold cording along the side.
This was a fun challenge. Thanks for looking

Oh Gloria, it's so good to know you're back to being 100%! your card today is simply fabulous; I had no idea you could do Asian so wonderfully well. How fantastic that you've been to the Great Wall! Lucky you. BTW, this card is just so gorgeous.
