1. Oh My Gosh! What amazing cakes! They are so so fun! I wanted to do all of them! Snort!
2. Of course the teapot cake jumped out at me! I almost chose it! I so wanted to do it but I thought I might save it and do it on Tuesday! Bwaahaha!!
3. When I was looking at these cakes one thing hit me! Big time! No candles, where are the candles. Well, that got me to thinking about these Inkadinkadoo stamps I have and one thing led to another! (Yabba-Dabba-Doo, Inkadinkadoo!)
4. I got this really cool flat tin and I have been trying to think of something fun to do with it and I hit me like a ton of bricks this morning, or should I say a ton of candles!
5. You will have to look at both pictures in order for this to make sense to you! But I can't wait to give one of these to some elderly friends! Snort!!
6. This little tin only holds 40 candles but 40 is good enough I think! These little tins are pretty inexpensive!!

This is a FABULOUS gift...now, only to find an envelope, hee! Just kidding...how fun to open up that tin and find all those purty little pastel candles all tied up in your sweet ribbon! Fab cake card!

We did the same cake inspiration, only I like your tons better.
Love the outside, love the inside. And, like jdmommy says, those of us who'd have the FD arrive if we put candles on our cake, would be very happy to have only 40 in a tin!!!

Wow! What a great cake...and your idea with the candles is just fabulous...great story to go with you card....as always...It also showed me how unobservant I am...never even thought about the lack of candles!

This is just wonderful, Cindy! I love your cake w/ the swirls on it. Hey, I'm thinking 40's a good number. Isn't 40 supposed to be the new 30 or something?
