Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Yesterday did not turn out as I expected. I had PLANNED to CLEAN all day. Instead, I cleaned for about 2 hours and ended up GOING SHOPPING! GEEZ! I blame it on Mark and Markie. They TEMPTED me. Markie sing-songed, "Come on....We're going to HOBBY LOBBY!" Ahhhhhh...the Siren Song of the crafter.....
So, today, I WILL CLEAN my house. I SWEAR it...AFTER I go to Hobby Lobby again...They have a FABULOUS SALE going on!!! LOL!
The Siberian Iris was stamped in VersaMark onto Watercolor paper. (I found the watercolor paper at Hobby Lobby, on the CLEARANCE AISLE!!!) Next, I embossed it in Gold. I used SU! markers to color. Then, I used an Aqua Painter to blend.
The swirls are a Big Shot Die! The sentiment treatment is Nesties!

Clean??? Whatever for when you can creat something as beautiful as this instead after you've been shopping. I'll stamp any day over cleaning or laundry or anything that has to do w/ housework; except straightening my stamping room!! That's a must. Great find in the sale aisle.
Happy New Year!

This is really pretty Faith. I love the lightly printed dps you used. The colors are also very nice. I love those great brads from SU, and your flower is so pretty with the gold embossing.
