Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Giving Thanks. Isn't that a GREAT Challenge?
Well...If you know me, then you know that I LOVE FRIED Turkey! LOVE IT! Mark has ALREADY cooked 2 turkeys for our small (3 of us living at home) family Thanksgiving meal. Two turkeys? Yep! One is for the family meal...and one is for ME! That's right...ME! And, I do NOT share! (Well...Speedy the Cat has been allowed a few very small crumbs, but they are usually ones that FELL ON THE FLOOR! LOL!)
Anyway...I'm already in a partial Turkey COMA and it's only 10:30AM! I've eaten 3/4 of my 12 lb turkey already! LOL! Now, you TRY to stamp in a turkey coma, I dare you!
The leaf was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid ink onto watercolor paper. I colored it in with SU! markers and used an aqua painter to blend.
The papers were sponged with More Mustard and Sage Shadow to create depth.
The back panel was embossed with the Holly Cuttlebug embossing folder. Since it didn't cover the areas that show, I just repositioned the panel to get some leaves in the corners!

Faith, you would just love Petie, he lives in a trailer on one of our farms and he's a bit of a jack of all trades, has a big heart but not much business sense. He managed to find turkeys that didn't make their weight and he grew them up. He gave me one of the little guys for Christmas (22lbs) I could've chosen the big guys (42 & 43lbs), but I wouldn't know what to do with all that turkey. Sounds like you would, but I think it would BUST your frier--not that you wouldn't give it a try though!!! LOVE your comatose card!!
