I couldn't help but feel a swell of patriotism as the election results came in tonight. There was no choice but to make a simple statement with this patriotic card that reflects the optimism that comes with the election of a new leader for this great country we call home. I used DP and a background stamp to create my sketch challenge card. I stamped Tres Chic in Going Grey highlighting HOPE and INSPIRATION in Night of Navy marker. A few silver punched stars and a red ribbon in some HPG finish this off. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Know this is an older post, but I just came across it. I remember how I felt on the day after the election of President Obama. I happened to be in the DC area visiting my daughter and when I took my morning walk, I just wanted to hug everyone I saw! I just kept saying to myself, "I'm so proud of out country!" I haven't felt like that since he left office. Your card makes me think there still may be hope.
