Good Morning, everyone!! The Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge this month was hosted by Jami. Her challenge to us was to create a NO LAYER (yikes) card, any size, any color. We were also required to use masking in some way and we coluldn't use any pink (double yikes!!)
I decided to go with a rustic Christmas card..no pink here!! The beautiful Penny Black image from Stampers Dream was inked up with Chocolate Chip and Handsome Hunter markers and stamped on Creamy Caramel cs. The edge was scored, masked, and sponged with Chocolate Chip. The sentiment from the new SU set Snow Swirled was stamped with Handsome Hunter. I then cut an oval out of a scrap piece of cardstock with a Nestie, layed it over the sentiment, lightly sponged with Handsome Hunter, and doodled around the edge. Brown half pearls, from Flourishes, LLC , and gingham ribbon finish it off. TFL and have a great Saturday!!

Oh, you clever girl, you! Love the illusion of the edging as a faux layer! WOW!
