What a fun challenge we had today... LSC183. Since we are bidding goodbye to summer, and one of the big things often celebrated in summer is a wedding, we were to use something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
I had not gotten to play last week's featured stamper FS81.. Kokirose and I really wanted to because she has one awesome gallery! So my something borrowed is a case of this card:
My something new is the brand new Aquapainter I used to color the flower. This was a first for me and I need practice but it was fun!
My something old is the Linen and French Script BG stamps I used.
The blue is obvious... one of the changes I made to my case card was to replace the black matting with Blue Bayou. This also fits the Dirty Challenge for Aug to use as many of the outgoing "in" colors as we could. I used River Rock, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou.
I omitted the sewing, ovals and buttons, and used instead little glue on bronze charms. I attached my sentiment with a gold thread through an eyelet I set with my crop-a-dile. I also watercolored the flower on watercolor paper and again on vellum, cut them both out and attached with a brad. I added stickles to the stamens.
I had fun with this one and am very happy with the results. Hope you like it too!
