I have been practicing what I learned from Michelle Zindorf and I am pleased with how this came out. I first stamped the owl in Versafine Black Onyx on PTI white card stock and clear embossed it. I then colored in the eyes and feathers with SU! markers. I colored the image with a Versamarker and clear embossed the owl again. Next I used a nestabilitiy to cut out the circle on a post it note for the moon. I placed the circle where I wanted it and then brayered with Brocade Blue all the way down the panel. Then I brayered with Not Quite Navy to below the owl. I removed the circle mask and swiped Brocade Blue with a sponge across the moon to make it less stark. I sponged Not Quite Navy around the bottom and sides of the panel. I used a white gel pen to highlight the branch. I used Basic Grey Periphery and Boxer papers for the matting. I felt I needed something else on the main panel but didn't want to screw it up after all that work so I used my SU! mat pack and MM piercer and pierced in 2 corners. TFL.
