I made this for IC135, it's the first time I've played along with the Saturday Inspiration Challenge.
I needed a Thank-you card for a friend, so this is it.
I love enamelling, it's something my Dad used to do.
I chose the picture of the coasters - http://www.mackintoshenamels.com/cat...ster/c01.shtml. I wanted glossy, so lots of UTEE :-)
For the *plates* I used a large circle punch and the scalloped circle punch. First of all I stamped my Hero Arts stamps, and embossed them with clear EP so that I could use the resist technique. Then I sponged over them with ink, and used Versamark to build up a couple of layers of UTEE. I punched out the circles after all this. I punched the scallops, sponged them with ink and used more Versamark and UTEE.
The sentiment was stamped with gold, embossed, and then I shaped the rectangle using a small circle punch in each corner, and then rounding the corners.
I made a flip-stack using black Bazzill and gold organza ribbon. Because of the depth of all my little plates, I had to stick a bit of foam between the photo-turn and the card, to raise it up.
The card stock is gold card, which I stamped with Carte Postale and black Staz-0n. I used little strips of gold peel-offs just to finish off the edges.
