What a wonderful Featured Stamper today, Beth! This is the first opportunity I have had to view Michele's gallery, but it definitely won't be the last! I love how she uses dressmaker details on her cards...so rich and full of texture. I chose this card Crafty Secret's Challenge CSSC07 by chelemom at Splitcoaststampers to say I love this would not do it justice. I just hope my case draws attention to this awesome artist!
Michele used the wonderful Scarlet from Basic Grey, I chose Perhaps. The background is stamped with the ARTIST definition left on my counter from yesterday, I used Adirondack raisin. I stamped my dress form in TH di brushed corduroy and embossed the stand in Antiquities rust ep. I colored the bodice with Copics. I used tulle in an orchid that I colored with VersaMagic and Copics to tone down the purple hue. Into my grandmothers' button box for three tiny mother of pearl buttons for the waist...leaving the strings from the button card attached. I used a real garter what I aged with Copic markers to a lovely beige color. I reversed the placement of my layout. Instead of lace at the bottom of the dressform panel, I used my neighbors' new Fiskar threading water punch and wove a strand of doll pearls through the eyelets.
I love my funky and slightly askew vintage card. Enjoy your day Michele! And thanks to all you gals for your comments!!!

Oh wow Susan! I think this is my favorite of your cards that I've seen so far. I LOVE this! The tulle, the buttons *sewn* on, that garter! This is amazing!

Absolutely gorgeous in every detail! LOVE the garter!!! Love the basic grey paper... the dress is just a study in color and texture! Awesome for sure! The garter reminds me of a story... when I was little I used to get my words mixed up a bit... and after a summer vaction at church we were often asked to tell a little about our vacation... I was trying to tell of our trip up the mountain and there were no guard rails, which greatly traumatized me, but instead I said "there were no garter belts"! Got quite a laugh! Thanks for the memory!

Oh, Susan! I love what you did here! The backgrounds are so rich, but the dress really takes center stage! The detail on this is exquisite! And the garter - what a perfect element in your oustanding design! I am in awe, as usual!

Susan, this card could only be yours. Amazing use of fabric, color, texture and elements that invoke a certain feel. The garter is cracking me up. As you read the comments you can tell the age of those who are struggling to name this! LOL. I won't even ask where you got it. Hugs.
