The challenge this week is to use a "shimmer spray" on your art. Check out the challenge here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
The shimmer spray was Ranger's Distress Ink "Scattered Straw" and Gold Perfect Pearls. I sprayed it very heavily, heat dried it and repeated this several times until I had full coverage. I like the way the coverage is NOT uniform. While I used it here to create the background, you can also spray it on your finished project as an accent.
I used Adirondack inks (Cranberry, Expresso, and Latte) and Jet Black Archival Ink. Stamps are Rubbernecker and Jeanne Strieff Collection.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but when I tried to make my own it went smelly on me, kinda rancid. It didn't happen right away... I had used it then put it on the shelf for a couple months beforre needing it for a different project and wheeeeww knocked my socks off and ruined the project I just did cuz I couldn't get the smell out.
I've never had my glimmermist do that so I decided not to make anymore of my own...
