This is for today's inspiration challenge which was to be from the Acacia catalog, which I am unfamiliar with. Fortunately, we were graciously provided three sample photos of items from the catalog. I chose the first photo to work from, which was an item that had embossed, aged items. I think it was a piece of wall decor.
I was inspired to try metal embossing again using the cutlebug swirls folder. The metal on my card came from a soda can that was cut with my rotary cutter and embossed with the Bug.
The image I used belongs to a friend and I don't know who the manufacturer is. I just love these skating reindeer and the swirls in the ice reminded me of the swirls on the Cuttlebug folder. Used the same SU Wintergreen dp that was out from my last project.
Thanks for looking!

OMG, I LOVE, LOVE this incredible card. I love the silver CB embossed pop can tin "how genius is of you, smart girl", that oh so cute image, the coloring, the bling and that dazzling ribbon. You rocked this challenge for sure.

I can't think of a more perfect way to recycle a can than to put it on a card especially when it's as beautiful as this one! The effect is stunning and as you said, the swirls cb folder fits perfectly with the stamp which is just lovely and so perfectly coloured. Fabulous idea and card!

WOW! Stunning! I was wondering about using metal with the embossing folders - thank you for sharing this beautiful example. I can hardly wait to try it! I love everything about your card, the colors are terrific the stickles are great touch! That soft green is beautiful with the silver - I usually tend to use blue with silver, this is a gorgeous alternative.
