Hope everyone knows my house isn't getting cleaned because of this card. I just couldn't leave it alone until I finished it. Whew! That said, here are the details.....
Stamped the image twice with brilliance black, clear ep'd it. Stamped the jar part only, using a magazine picture, versa mark, and white ep. Cut out the jar, and used my oval nesties for cutting out the whole image. Also cut out two different dp's with the oval nesties.
Glued the paper pieced jar to the main image, cut out leaves, parts of the flowers, and butterfly bug and popped these up on the image.
Cut out a rectangle of basic grey, sponged the edges. Since this was an inspiration challenge, I made the dotted background paper to match a pillow in the IC picture. Did this by stamping my lg. dot border stamp w/versa mark, then ep'd it with white ep. Sponged red magic over top, then swiffered over the dots.
Put this altogether, sponged only two corners per my son's advice, then added the tiny caterpillar because I just couldn't help myself. Had to add some type of whimsy to my card. LOL
So, there you have it, my first card for this type of challenge. Now back to my house work!.......TFL :0)

The *glass jar* is actually a picture from Sur la table magazine. It is of a glass pitcher of a frozen drink of some kind. I thought it would make a great jar vase and aparently it did! Thanks all for all of your wonderful comments!!!!!!!! :0)

I love your son's idea on the corner sponging ... and the dimension you achieved with your vase of blooms is amazing ... thanks so much for postponing the cleaning and joining the iC fun ... your inspired card is gorgeous.

I say let the dust bunnies rest! Your card is adorable and bright- and that lil caterpillar is the best! Love it!

Gorgeous! Love that flower image, and how the vase looks like glass! Into my faves for this one (ps...cleaning the house should NEVER win over stamping!)
