Sometimes coming home is the best place to travel. My friend's daughter is just getting out of a long hospital stay for an eating disorder, and she's only 13. I needed something cheery that would not be judgemental or have a specific sentiment like 'get well'. (she's doing really well so far)
So I had one of my 'discarded' images that I messed up on sitting there. The thread: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
was on my mind so I decided that my cards don't have to be perfect any more than my friend's kid does. Imperfections are what makes us unique, so this card has a bunch of "oops" that are disguised.
I had to...sand off the smeared stickles... redraw one of the spokes... use my signo gel pen to make the area white again... use my red SU marker to make the flowers from the DP match...AND use the "sprinkle" stamp to cover the ink smudges around the basket of flowers!
What I got was a "one of a kind" somewhat flawed but pretty cute result that will be just right for her!

Sometimes it's the little oopsies that make our cards better. This is one bright and cheerful card. How sweet of you to make it for your friends daughter, hope she is doing well. TFS :0)

I was reading the thread an popped over to your card to see how it turned out. It's absolutely lovely. I'm sure it's full of more character after all the corrections than it ever would have had before. Very clever in your corrections by the way. TFS
