love those colors together, Emily and I too made a celebration card...but my baby boy turned 13 yesterday!!!
How fast the time flies...lightspeed.
I recently made a tag along these lines with a different wagon, font, and star...but I fell in love with this new set from Artistic Outpost called 'Playtime'. I stamped my wagon/sentiment onto GP white cs and embossed in clear. I colored the wagon in shaded of real red with Copics.Stickers spell out the birthday boys' name. I added paper piecing to the word STAR in todays' challenge colors, SU's bayou blue and soft sky. I attached a tag from the Martha Stewart punch. stamped the no.13 in Brilliance moonlight white and then when over it with a Signo gel pen in white. I added 13 silver stars. The STAR of my show though is the fabulous barn star from River City Rubber. I inked it in VersaColor black and embossed with Antiquities Rust ep. I matted the image onto Bo-Bunny Press navy bead board that had been cut with the cuttlebug/nestabilities. A red gingham ribbon knotted to the star completes my card. The card base is BG snowfall polar blue...looks like a sky full of stars to me.
So we're off down the road of teenage boy years...again...I can't wait to see what life brings my star! Thanks as always for the gift of your comments!

Tell Andy Happy Birthday! 13... ah yes, I remember it well... everyone had warned me how awful it was but it never got awful here! We have been so blessed ! Enjoy each and every day with them... they are grown and gone before you can turn around!
